Neuropsychological Testing
The neuropsychological assessment process involves a clinical interview,Â
one-to-one in-person testing, and a feedback session. The testing session is approximately 3-5 hours in length, and evaluates overall cognitive/intellectual ability, including attention, executive functioning, visuospatial skills, new learning and memory, and motor abilities - gross motor speed and fine motor skills. The testing battery can also include a targeted assessment of adaptive functioning well as emotional, behavioral and personality assessment. Test results are then used to formulate a comprehensive picture of your functioning, including your cognitive strengths and weaknesses, in order to clarify psychiatric and neuropsychiatric diagnoses and tailor unique treatment recommendations, including school or work accommodations as warranted. Â
